Sorry, I made a typo in the binding lines. They should read: bind(OneOfEachAnnotation.class).annotatedWith(A.class).to(OneOfEachAnnotation.class).in(Singleton.class); bind(OneOfEachAnnotation.class).annotatedWith(B.class).to(OneOfEachAnnotation.class).in(Singleton.class);
