I've mentioned Giulius in a couple of threads on this list but never really announced it, and I just added a tutorial I had sitting around for it:
https://github.com/timboudreau/giulius In a nutshell, what it offers is: - Load settings from well-defined locations and bind them with @Named - A very slick (if I do say so myself) JUnit test runner that lets you inject test methods with arguments, and even run one test multiple times with different module configurations (here's an example of that - http://j.mp/YsPIsu ) - Define default values using annotations, so you're never in a situation where your application explodes unless someone knows a magic properties-file incantation - Minimalist application lifecycle management Before anybody says "Hey, you're reinventing the wheel!" - the code actually has a multi-year history, it just wasn't on Github for all of that time. Anyway, hope someone finds it useful, -Tim -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "google-guice" group.
