I'm trying to integrate guice 3.0 in an eclipse e4 RCP application. E4 has it's own dependency mechanism, and I want to inject some of the e4 components in guice-managed components. Concretely I have a 'LazyLoadingAspectAssistant' that uses a BusinessController. The controller is injected in the assistant, but the first one lives in the E4 context, and the second one in the guice context. Guice wants to resolve the BusinessController as soon as it sees the Inject annotation on the assistant, but I want it to just use the already configured E4-controller. All suggestions are welcome ...
