I believe that is just Guice trying to be fancy with line numbers during 
binding errors. It is actually an ASM issue but Guice uses ASM for this line 
number stuff. Since this usually happens if there are binding errors, it won't 
happen in production.

Inversoft has been using Guice with Java 8 in production for a while now. No 
problems thus far. 

The latest Guice builds fix this I think but we haven't run into the problem 
for a while, so I couldn't tell you for sure. 

We also found a breakpoint location to allow you to inspect the binding 
exception before Guice gets fancy.  I can email you the breakpoint tomorrow if 
you still need it.
