+1 Never ending beta feels so Web 2.0. 

Same here, I have a build a Web binding framework (Snow) based on Guice, 
and use it with all of my clients, and I have pushing back moving to 4.0 
because I do not want to tell my clients that I put "beta" things in 
production.
