We are pleased to anounce the availability of a new release (v 1.0.6)
of the Java client library for GData.

Here are the changes since last version:
o Added Java client support and extensions for GData CodeSearch
   API.

There is one known issue:
While using the GData Spreadsheets API, if a GET is issued on an empty
cell, currently an empty entry, i.e. one without an inputValue, will
be returned. If you modify the empty cell, you cannot 'update' the
cell with PUT - you will have to 'insert' it using POST. This behavior
will change in a future release.

The updated code is available from the GData homepage:
  http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/index.html

A direct download of the Java client is here:
  http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/download/gdata.java.zip

The C# client will support the Spreadsheet extensions in the future. A
post will be made on this newsgroup when this is available.

All other questions, comments, suggestions may be posted on this
newsgroup.

Thanks,
Sanjay Jeyakumar
