Hello everybody, i'm new with gdata api, and i was asking if it's possible to use any api to solve a problem i have: i have to develop an academical news search engine, for a tesis and i'm in a very early stage. What i am using is a java opensource library(rome) that let mi retrieve all the informations held in some rss news feed i've choosen, and then i index all the rss fields with lucene open source library. My big problem is that i need to index the whole test of the News accessible via the URL field in RSS, and not to index only the description offered with the rss news feed.
the problem here is that there's no standard in offering, via html, news full text by newspapers sources, and that makes automatic retrieving of the full News text a very hard task to me.if any of you could suggest me any gdata api that could make it simpler to get the full News text in a standard way, or way to reach this target, i would really appriciate your help. I hope to have express my problem in a clear way...
