I want to schedule google desktop search/indexing on a weekly basis
and 100%idle during the rest of the week.
The schedule can be set up in a Windows Schedule or by programming the
functionality in Java.

How do I suspend all Google desktop activity via a command?
How do I activate Google desktop via a command and have it index 100%
regardless of online activity (ie do it at night while I sleep)?

I find it a resource hog, but can live with it if it works as I need
it to, versus how it appears to be implemented to the normal user. I
thought the first night it would have indexed my whole drive when I
installed it, but it seems the definition of idle does not include
that period when windows goes to sleep when I have left the computer
for the day.

Thank You.
