YouTube HORRIBLE new TV interface
#Google is rolling out a new TV interface for #YouTube. It's awful.
Easy to see red position bar replaced by hard to see white bar.
Buffering indication on the bar is gone completely. Worst of all --
and this should drive YT creators NUTS, the ability to look at other
videos on the channel has been effectively hidden under multiple
clicks. That is, you're watching a video and you want to see what else
is on that creator's channel. It used to be simple. But now you have
to navigate to Description, and then click on the Description bar that
opens, and THEN you'll see a choice to visit the channel. It's hard to
see any purpose to this change other than discouraging viewers from
staying on the same channel. AWFUL. ANTI-USER. ANTI-CREATOR. So
typical of Google these days. What do they care about creators when YT
can gen up as much mediocre AI videos as they want and never pay
creators another dime?
