On YouTube Movies & TV: "Phantom of the Paradise"
Wow. Another film spectacular just arrived on #YouTube Movies & TV for
the first time, free in U.S. So new it only has 14 comments! Written
and directed by Brian De Palma, and starring Paul Williams, It's
1974's horror/musical "Phantom of the Paradise". A bizarre mix of
themes from "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Phantom of the Opera" and
"Faust", it's a modern (for 1974) story of a man who sells his soul
for rock 'n' roll, with predictably gruesome results. Way ahead of its
time, it bombed on release but has since -- you guessed it -- become a
cult classic supreme. VERY much recommended! -

By the way, #Google AI Overviews presented me with two hilariously
incorrect and inept interpretations of a famous line from the film.
