An extremely problematic Joe Biden oriented YouTube Channel
My attention was drawn just now to a YouTube channel apparently
presenting new video postings by Joe Biden. And he seems to be in
great shape. If you read the comments, you'll see a long line of
people so glad to see him back and doing so well.
Unfortunately, and you probably know where this is going, the entire
channel appears to be AI-generated. In fact, if you read the full video
descriptions -- which of course almost nobody ever does -- it is openly
stated that this is all AI-generated material of a "fan site" nature.
The channel has around 140K subs. The latest video (from yesterday)
has almost 70K views. The AI quality is very good though to the
trained eye there are still (for the moment) signs that it is
AI-generated.
This channel is problematic in many ways unto itself in terms of
the confusion it could bring, but even more so as a harbinger
of AI dangers yet to come.
