New York joins states demanding that all social media users prove
their ages with government IDs, enabling mass tracking of all users
Here we go again. There's no way to prevent children from accessing
material without forcing ALL USERS to use government IDs to prove
their age. Ultimately, that WILL lead to hacks of credentials, mass
tracking of users' Web activities, and more. Politicians of both
parties clearly want to replicate Communist China's awful Internet
tracking here. Awful.
