Invite to YouTube Graffiti

I just received an email from YouTube inviting me to join the waiting
list for their new "Notes" feature (aka, YouTube Graffiti -- that's
what I'm calling it for now) letting people scribble notes on other
people's videos. Destined to be an utter train wreck, of course. We've
all seen this movie before.

While the invite mentions that the feature will only work on mobile,
what the invite unhelpfully doesn't mention is that accepting the
invite only apparently works if you accept it via clicking on the link
in Gmail on a mobile device. If you do this in Gmail on desktop,
you're pushed to a help page about the feature, but (as it turns out)
you're not actually put on the waiting list. Nothing to warn you about
this, of course.

Off to a great start on this one Google. Jeez.
