Don't be suckered into using Google passkeys by their recent announcement
I'm not going to repeat my detailed technical discussions here again, but I'll
just say that I urge you NOT to be suckered into using Google passkeys by their
announcement of various "improvements". These barely touch on the fundamental
problems,
and Google's hellscape of an account recovery system continues to leave
vulnerable
users out to dry without access to their data. In fact, it's getting worse, as
painful
as that is to contemplate. -L
