The execs know their AI is trash
I don't blame AI for any part of this horrible mess. I blame the Big
Tech execs who KNOW (their engineers have been warning them until they
are blue in the face) that these systems are inept, mediocre, and
error prone, but still push them out to prod and the public wrapped in
hype as desperation intensifies to justify the vast fortunes being
flushed down the john in this effort. And since they KNOW how utterly
awful this stuff is, they KNOW they don't dare take responsibility for
the results, and so -- as long as their stock options keep vesting --
let all of us just swing helplessly in the wind. -L
