Google claims billions are using AI Overviews, even though you get them
automatically in search -- and Google refuses to discuss how sites are
being starved of clicks by AI Overviews
Utterly hypocritical. AI Overviews are FORCED on Google Search users --
they're not CHOOSING to use them, so Google's 1.5 billion users
claim is just bull. And Google's REFUSAL to discuss click through rates
to sites from AI Overviews exposes the truth we all know -- AI Overviews
are starving sites of clicks -- the very sites from which Google is
getting the data for their AI Overviews. Google isn't even trying
to appear honest about this anymore. -L
