What the hell is Bluesky thinking? Bluesky "verification" and Google Forms

Using Google Forms for anonymous surveys and such or for the
collection of harmless information is perfectly fine. I've used them
myself for such purposes.

But Bluesky requiring them for submission of personal information for
"verification" is incredibly problematic at this stage of the game.
Remember, Google gave a million bucks to Trump's inauguration, and
Google CEO Sundar was up there schmoozing with that fascist on
inauguration day.
