Did you upgrade Picasa from 2.7 to 3.0? We found a bug where the ~/.google/picasa/3.0 directory didn't get setup correctly when migration from 2.7. Just run: cp -r /opt/google/picasa/3.0/wine/ drive_c/windows/system32 ~/.google/picasa/3.0/drive_c/windows
The next release should fix this automatically.
