The import pop-up notifier needs to have an option to turn it off. It keeps stealing focus away from the task I'm working on, and I really don't need to know that it's working away in the background.
As I often have to import large amounts of photos, I'd rather have Picasa running silently in the background. My only option right now is to leave my computer running when I'm finished my other work and open Picasa to import photos. I know that I can turn off the auto-scanning, but I'd much rather have an option to turn off the pop-up (like almost every other application already possesses)!
