Using Picasa Webalbum primarily as an easy means of backup of my photos while handling them locally with Picasa, I really regret the lack of video file support in Picasa for Linux. Unfortunately, not even the web upload supports uploading the bunch of video files that are among my photos. I even thought of using YouTube/Google Video instead, but figured it would be too much trouble.
I know that Picasa for Linux is really just the Windows Picasa bundled with Wine -- but what are this group's experiences of downloading the actual Windows exe file (which I'm told supports videos) and running it "manually" through already installed Wine? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
