You can install ffdshow into your Wine tree and get all the codecs
yourself. There's also the problem of video playback support (Wine
needs a VMR implementation.) This is because Picasa refused to upload
anything that's not video, and if Picasa cannot render/playback a
video, then as far as it's concerned, it's not video.
