I noticed you are putting important data into the Linux version of Picasa. Did you notice the word BETA on the link?
Beta means you Beta watch out cause it may not work right!!! Save your files on a pc that does not have beta software, then put it on the beta machine to play around with the program. Advice from an old guy who has been there-done that before. Cheers...
