Picasa 3.0.0 (Build 57.4402,0), eeeBuntu ( Ubuntu 8.10 ). The disk to disk backup function takes the value of free space from the filesystem of the home directory not the actual filesystem chosen as the backup destination.
Using a symlink from the home directory to the destination directory does not workround the problem. Consequence is inability to perform backups and therefore unable to migrate to a new machine. ANY suggestions gratefully received.
