Greetings,
I'm looking to install Picasa on a linux box at work to use for
scientific research purposes. My employer has fairly high security and
their general policy is if a user can install a program without root
access, then it's generally okay, but if root access is required, they
won't permit it. So my question is whether there is any way to install
Picasa locally without having root access? Since the source code is
not made available, I'm not sure what other installation options there
are other than to use the package manager (which requires a root
password to proceed). I'm on a Centos 5.4 box.
Thanks!
