Hi,

while I am generally really happy with the new Picasa (3.0.0 beta,
build 57.4402,0 on Ubuntu 9.10 i686), the following things should be
ironed out before the final release:

- it does not recognize links to folders - thus rescans the pics
several times and handles the different instances differently -
despite recognizing that the folders are the same when checking using
"locate on disk" - this is really annoying.
(Workaround is obviously to stop scanning the linked folders, but
picasa should be able to figure this out itself)

- the "upload to albums drop box" button does not scale the pics - the
"upload to web albums" does, so this is not critical. But a more
consistent behavior would be nice.
