Oregonbob, which version of Picasa did you install ? If you installed
3.6 via Wine, you should be able to locate it under Applications →
Wine → Programs ; you can then right-click Picasa to place it on your
panel. If instead, you've installed a pre-3.5 so-called «Linux
version» (which, in fact, also runs via Wine), it should appear under
Applications → Graphics ; the procedure described above can also here
be used to place it on your panel. The above works very well on my 64--
bit Ubuntu Lucid boxes....
