You could use 'winecfg' to set up a drive mapping
to the mount point. If you don't have a menu option
for winecfg, then from a CLI:
mtob...@ren:~> wine winecfg

When the winecfg dialog shows up, select the "Drives"
tab, select "Add..." button, then select an unused
"Drive letter", and finally, use the "Browse" button
to browse to the subdirectory which is the mount point
for the NTFS partition. Select OK, Apply, OK.

Fire up Picasa and, "Tools -> Folder Manager" to ensure
the drive you just set up is selected.
