Amazing.....

I just started google-earth on my openSUSE 12.1 system to examine the font
appearance which had not drawn my attention previous. The look very good,
clear and distinctive. AND, I am currently away from my desktop ssh-ing
into it from a windows laptop over wireless.

The font problem must be a *buntu* problem.

I was advised that I was opening google-earth in opengl mode and suggested
directx would perform better, but directx mode crashes... opengl mode
displayed properly.
