If you look at the two commands, you'll notice that they are exactly the 
same, save for the fact that the second time around I tried «sudo», as it 
often provides access when that first has been denied....

After running the *first* command, a Winetricks menu appeared, both on this 
try and on the previous one, which asked me what I want to do and on which 
«Select the default wineprefix» wass pre-selected. The other alternatives 
were :

View help
Install an app
Install a benchmark
Install a game
Enable silent install
Show broken apps Ue.g. those with DRM problems)

Not knowing what to do, I have in both instances chosen to cancel - should 
I instead have chosen one of the alternatives described above ?...
