Honestly, it doesn't make too much sense to have a Google Earth Flex API. The Maps API for Flash is useful because the maps are displayed in Flash and developers can overlay Flash objects on them. The Google Earth Javascript API is just a plug-in for manipulating an embedded C++ plugin, it doesn't really let you put HTML objects on Earth. Javascript is just a convenient cross-browser language for doing the manipulation.
If you desperately want to combine Flex controls with Earth, then you can use ExternalInterface, like shown in this blog post: http://cynergysystems.com/blogs/page/andrewtrice?entry=google_eath_flex_source_code - pamela On Fri, Sep 19, 2008 at 2:24 AM, zionist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > hi is there gonna be a google earth flex api like there is a > javascript api? > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
