Hi Joe- Apologies for delay in my response. It turns out that it's not trivial to get a SWC created from Flex Builder to work correctly in Flash. This is what I would suggest instead: 1) Do an svn checkout of the repository 2) Copy the "com" folder in the root of your project
You should be able to then import the classes and use them fine, according to my quick test. - pamela On Tue, Oct 7, 2008 at 10:17 PM, Joe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > hi, > I am new to google maps for flash & also to flash itself -- I just > started using v1.7 Released: Flash CS3. > > I tried to use the GoogleMapsAPIUtilityLibrary.swc goodies as well but > could not get the classes to be imported. > > I put it with the map_1_7.swc in C:\Program Files\Adobe\ Adobe Flash > CS3\language\Configuration\Components diirectory (on Windows). > > I am not sure if I am the issue (just not importing correctly) or is > GoogleMapsAPIUtilityLibrary.swc only meant to work with flex? > > Any help appreciated, > Joe > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
