Hi Bernat, I haven't tried to remove Markers before, but I think you could use the clearWrapper() method to remove the marker... (To Google staff: is this correct? Thanks in advance)
Once you set the new center of the Map you could place a -new- Marker at the map's center LatLng, with a new InfoWindow showing the info related to it. On a related note, if using this method works, does anyone think it is possible to remove a batch of markers all at once? I would like to remove a whole layer of markers (i.e. Hotels) to replace it with a new one (Restaurants). I've checked Pamela's demo for toggling markers but it renders them visible/invisible, instead of removing them.
