Hi, this is also my first post to this forum ! and also I come from the design side, so it's getting a bit difficult to figure out how to make everything working properly...
I'm also trying to make a Toggling Marker Categories map with a personalized info window..And I feel this can be a very useful tool for many people. I've followed the steps from this post, and I'm in a dark point, where I don't know how to mix the code from the CustomInfoWindow project and the Toggling project... Also I had a little fight with to images located in ../../images, and called [ blue-dot.png & green-dot.png ] which I still don't know what is their function... I could have understand that in the code example you are using, for giving the url reference to the infowindow you have to write it in the mxml file, so everytime you need to upload the markers, you will need to rebuild the project in order to add the new url reference ...Wouldn't it be more easy to find a way to define those url in a variable from the marker.xml just like all other parameters from the old info window : latlng, name, address, type ? Could we add also an image ? Would it be possible to do the same with the categories ?? to define them in the xml with paramaters where we could create new Categories and Subcategories, using always the same swf file ? If I would like to use other features from other examples how they should be mixed ? for example adding to all this system the Smart Info Windows ?
