Hi Fabrice, I have v 1.8c running. Updated it to 1.9 but it still behaves a bit oddly.
Using this projection: http://google-maps-api-for-flash.googlegroups.com/web/EuclideanProjection.as?gsc=l-ZUNRYAAAClUal-mYb3n73TLQDspNNuTvf5X75BbpUJK1xB1ciEUw The map will display a single image, but as you drag left or right, additional map images will appear as if they were there the whole time... Do you have a working projection class example?
