I'm working on a website in a country with pretty bad connections... and it takes a long time for my swf to load the google maps flash API.
Once it's loaded it works pretty much ok. I can switch to another section and come back to the contact section (creating new map objects) and it loads instantly. The thing is users don't get at first to the contact section so I thought of preloading the API, while they are reading other sections. I'm thinking of creating a hidden map and when the map init event is launched delete that object, and of course never add it to the display list. Is there a better way of doing this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
