Hi Gordon- Great work!
A few comments for you: - The cursor should change when moving over the blue markers - it's confusing right now that it stays the same. A changed cursor helps alot to indicate clickability. - Use different icons for events versus members - maybe the member icons can look like the button for it. - "Select scope" would make more sense as "Drag to Zoom" - I love that you've implemented that, by the way. - The Events box overlays the zoom/pan control by default. Maybe there's a better location for it, or maybe it can be like a sidebar that collapses.
