As for PDA, you have a few options:
1) iPhone SDK 3.0 lets you embed Google Maps in native apps using the
MapKit framework
2) Android SDK lets you embed Google Maps in native apps with MapView class
3) Failing that, you can use the Static Maps API for maps that work on
low-bandwidth/non-JS devices.
