Jason Displaying a large amount of data on a google map is a bit of a technical challenge. It can certainly be done but if you just need an occasional report shaded by zip code or census tract building a web app might be overkill. Granted, these products are very limited in their customization and web apps definitely scale better for groups. In any case I would definitely recommend doing a quick pattern analysis as part of the design process for a web app.
If you have the points geocoded you could easily throw them Map Window: (free but a bit complicated) www.mapwindow.org/ or MapPoint Desktop ($200 and easy to use / export to excel) http://www.microsoft.com/MapPoint/en-us/default.aspx Glenn On Jun 19, 10:24 pm, Jason <[email protected]> wrote: > We are a marketing firm that is looking to visualize a lot of phone > data, where we can show the location phone calls are coming from at > any given time.
