Hi Resiros No, I couldn't find a meaning for it either, so I just dropped on a text control and wrote the value to this.
If your camera is vertical, looking straight down and at zoom level 0, the value for zoomScale = 1, zoom level 1 gives zoomScale = 2, zoom level 3 gives zoomScale = 4 .... zoom level 10 gives zoomScale = 1024 and so it goes on. Not sure what it is actually for, but maybe useful to people doing complex viewport work ? As an aside, it a read-only value.
