I'm developing a new Flex based application that will use the Google Maps API in conjunction with a MySQL database. My question is regarding the development of Encoded Polylines. I have a text document that contains a considerably large number of (latitude, longitude) coordinates. It looks like this:
49.29001967,-123.12985650 49.29001967,-123.12985650 49.29001967,-123.12985650 49.29001967,-123.12985650 49.29001967,-123.12985650 Is there a way for me to use this text document, containing thousands of these lat,lon sets, into an Encoded Polyline? Is there some kind of tool that lets me paste lat,lon sets to create the Endoded Polyline code? I've seen the Interactive Polyline Encoder Utility page yet it does not allow me to add lists. Being able to import (or paste) sets like this and be given the necessary code back in a single click would be absolutely wonderful! Any and all thoughts on this are welcome. Begin able to do this is, in fact, a particularly important element to the project.
