I'm not new to development, but I'm having a similar problem. In testing from my local machine, everything seems to work (except for setCenter. I may have the wrong coordinates, but it puts in in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean instead of Utah), but when I test it online, I just get grey. The controls work, and the MAP_READY event seems to fire, but I get no map tiles. I've double-checked my key, and that seems to be correct, as well.
My code is a modified version of the intro-tutorial code. Only modified to add the controls and to place the code within a Class instead of just on the timeline. It doesn't seem like this should be a problem, so I'm kind of stuck, as well.
