I have a faults - tectonic plates file, which indeed has some problems with edges on different zoom levels. Do you want it as test file? It seems, that as higher the zoom level as precise the drawing is. On a low zoom level cross straight lines appear and it looks like a bug.
Also the parser puts a marker on each of tectonic plates, probably to indicate the plate name. How can i access them and handle a click on them?
