Hi all, I am having trouble with the customContent in infowindows. What I have is a marker that you can click, which opens up an infoWindow containing a Youtube video. When I click to close the infoWindow, I still hear the sound of the video playing, so I guess the actual object wasn't removed from the stage.
So I figured there would be some even I could listen for on the infoWindow for it closing and then set the content to null. No, there doesn't appear to be any such even you can listen for, but you can listen on the map for a infowindow_closed event. The api documentation says this will receive a MapEvent object containing a member variable 'feature' and that will point to the feature that the event is about. In my tests, the MapEvent object does arrive, but the 'feature' variable is always null. From reading the documentation though, it doesn't seem like that even matters, because the infoWindow has no way of changing the customContent or the InfoWindowOptions associated with it after loading. So now I am stumped. All I want to do is clear the video when the infoWindow is closed. I could add my own close button so I can handle the click events on it but that still leaves me with a problem when the infoWindow is automatically closed because the user clicked a different marker and opened a second window. Can anyone shed some light on this, and maybe give me some guidance as to how I can go about getting around the problem?
