I found the source of some problems I was having with my Flex mapping application in Chrome 5. I needed to turn off the security option to use computer wide SSL 2.0 in the security section of the Chrome options. After that, the problems I was having with the map re-sizing to fit the container were fixed. It also fixed a problem I was having with AlivePDF.
