I followed the instructions step by step at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/articles/flashmapinwpf.html for creating a basic desktop app. I used the c# option. I was able to compile and run the program in both visual studio 2010 IDE and in my Windows 7 x64 environment.
I attempted to run the program on another windows 7 machine as well as virtualbox win7 and xp. They all crash. I have tried compiling in .net 3.5 and 4. I also made sure to compile in x86. I have also tried to download and run the example .exe with libraries from the example and it crashes as well.
