Update: This issue only occurs when trying to run the SWF directly with Flash Player, or when trying to use the Flash CS3 debugger. If I publish the file and run the html version in a browser, that connects and loads Google Maps just fine. I would like to be able to run the standalone SWF on my machine for testing and debugging, so if anyone has had this issue and knows how to fix it I would appreciate it. My publish settings are set to network-only, but my FLA is also in the local-trusted sandbox.
