For anyone who's been using the new(ish) Google Elevation API directly from Flash, you will already know (or are painfully finding out), that ALL requests to the API will be rejected by the cross-domain policy at maps.google.com.
This means that currently, if you want to make any Elevation requests from Flash, you MUST proxy them via a remote service. I have spoken with some of the enterprise support team, who have passed this on to the Product Management team in the hope that an actionscript version of the 'ElevationService' class might make it on to the Maps Flash API roadmap at some point in the near future. This can hopefully be sped up if you some of you nice people could go and vote for the feature request here: http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2613 Thanks, Duncan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
