Hey guys, I'm having this problem too, my Air Application freezes for about 10 seconds before the app starts up, just running the HelloWorld app Google provided, also freezes for about 13 seconds, there are no errors at all, so I don't actually know what it is actually doing, but after that initialisation phase the application runs fine, the maps there, just the start up process is a bit laggy and slow
