Hi everyone, I'm not using the google map api to draw map, instead my client requested me to use another map engine. But it uses MERCATOR coordinates to communicate too. I'm stuck on the problem of converting my clicked pixel to MERCATOR value so the map engine can set it as the new map center. I'm not a maths freak and i have to admit that i don't understand what wikipedia gives me on the mercator projection page...
Does anyone has already done an AS class that does this job? If not can somebody take a bit of its time to help me figure out how i should implement the projection equations ?
