In reference to your earlier post. When you remove a child from the display
list I don't think it completely destroys it. It should be set up for the
garbage collector to clean it. And, if you have a reference to it somewhere
else the garbage collector won't remove it from memory unless it has to.

Also, you can't change the api key after the map is initialized. It uses
that key to see if you have permission to access the application. Once it is
set it can't be changed.
